On this page I've included a mixed bunch of portrait studies. I find all faces interesting, including those of monsters so I've thrown them in too! And don't be suprised to find a gorilla! In fact when I think about it some of the characters below are monsters and, at least in the cases of Robert Mitchum playing The Preacher in Night of the Hunter and James Cagney in Angels with Dirty Faces, some of the actors I've drawn are playing monsters. Only monsters in human form.
